Welux $2,000 Client Appreciation Sweepstakes – Official Rules

​

1. Sponsor

This Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Welux (“Sponsor,” “we,” “us,” “our”), headquartered at:
[575 Lexington Ave, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10022]

2. Eligibility

  • Open only to individuals who are Welux clients with a verified investment of at least $100 USD in a Welux-managed account on or before December 15, 2025.

  • Must be 18 years or older (or age of majority in state of residence).

  • Open to residents of jurisdictions where such sweepstakes are legal.

  • Employees, officers, directors, and representatives of Welux and their immediate household/family members are not eligible.

  • Void where prohibited.

 

3. Sweepstakes Period

  • Start: October 1, 2025 at 00:00 Eastern Time

  • End: December 15, 2025 at 23:59 Eastern Time
    All entries must be received and verified within the Sweepstakes Period.

 

4. How to Enter

  • Eligible clients automatically receive one (1) entry.

  • No additional purchase is required beyond the minimum $100 investment needed to qualify as a client.

  • Limit one entry per person.

 

5. Prize

One (1) prize consisting of: $2,000 USD.

Winner may choose one of the following payout methods:

  1. Cryptocurrency of winner’s choice, delivered to a valid crypto wallet address provided by the winner;

  2. Paper check, mailed to the address provided by the winner;

  3. Domestic U.S. wire transfer to the winner’s bank account.

Notes:

  • For crypto payments, the USD value will be converted into the chosen asset at the market rate at the time the transfer is executed.

  • Winner is responsible for providing accurate payment details and for any receiving-side fees.

 

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • On or about January 1, 2026, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) winner from all eligible entries.

  • Winner will be notified via email associated with their Welux account within 5 business days.

  • Winner must respond within 14 days to claim the prize.

  • If the winner does not respond or is found ineligible, Sponsor reserves the right to choose an alternate winner.

 

7. Prize Delivery

  • Prize will be delivered via the method selected by the winner.

  • Crypto transfers may incur network fees on the recipient’s end—Winner is responsible for such fees.

  • Sponsor is not responsible for lost funds due to incorrect wallet addresses or banking details supplied by the winner.

 

8. Publicity Release

Where legally permitted, winner agrees that Welux may use their name, initials, or city/state for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

 

9. Taxes

Winner is responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize receipt.
Sponsor may issue required tax documents, including IRS Form 1099.

 

10. Compliance With New York State Law

Because the Sweepstakes is govern in New York State, the following apply:

a. NY Registration & Bonding

  • New York General Business Law requires registration and bonding for sweepstakes awarding prizes exceeding $5,000.

  • This prize is $2,000, which is below that threshold, so NY bonding/registration requirements do not apply.

b. NY “Unlawful Electronic Sweepstakes” Rules

  • Sponsor affirms that this Sweepstakes does not involve prohibited electronic sweepstake mechanisms as defined under NY Penal Law §156.40.

  • No “entertaining display,” no gambling-type interactive system, and no paid game mechanism is used.

  • No additional paid participation is required.

c. Advertising Compliance

  • All promotional materials will include clear disclosures, eligibility requirements, and an explanation of how to enter, consistent with New York consumer protection rules.

  • Sponsor will not promote the Sweepstakes in a manner that could be confused with online gambling or casino-style sweepstakes prohibited under NY law.

 

11. Limitations of Liability

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Lost, delayed, or misdirected communications

  • Technical errors or service outages

  • Incorrect or invalid wallet, bank, or mailing details provided by winner

  • Events outside reasonable control, including regulatory changes, force majeure, fraud, etc.

 

If the Sweepstakes cannot operate as planned, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes.

 

12. Governing Law

This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in New York State courts located in New York County.

 

13. Privacy

Personal information collected will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, and deliver the prize.
All data handling follows the Welux Privacy Policy found on our website at www.welux.biz
